Notes

William was the son of Richard and Harriet Isabella Myerscough; 
husband of Elizabeth Mary Myerscough, of Longridge, Lancashire. 
He died on the 9th April 1943 aged 26.

Operation:Duisberg

Took off at 2151 hours Kirmington

Encountered very severe icing at 19,500 feet and crashed near Essen. 
 Those who died rest in Reichswald Forest War Cemetery. 

PLT OFF P.P. Stevens and PLT OFF C.C. Lee survived the crash and became Prisoners of War.   

William Myerscough was awarded the 1939-45 Star for operational Service in the Second World War 
William  was also Awarded the War Medal 1939-1945.
