I have today loaded a picture of the resting place of
John Myerscough 1905 -1944
very appropriate for the date being close to Remembrance day
John the son of John & Lavinia Myerscough nee Morris
and the husband of Mary J Myerscough nee Martin
died in France 28 June 1944, is buried in Ryes War Cemetery Bazenville Calvados France.
I requested a picture of his headstone from the Find a Grave website
Virginie Macagno kindle obliged and sent me the picture of his grave.
We send our Thanks to her for taking time out to fill my request

We have now received from Fred Hill the history of the
Lancaster Bomber DV329 that Thomas Myerscough was killed in November 1943
with some lovely pictures of the new memorial stone erected at the crash site

I have spent some time finding new death dates for our ancestors, many have come on line,
also new marriages,
If I have entered a marriage date on the Myerscough database and you would like to have further information contact me and see if I have the certificate,they may not all have been entered on the list of "certificates held" already on the site,which I will try and update soon.
