Notes
John was the son of Thomas and Alice Mary MYERSCOUGH
of Green Bank, Eden Park, Lancaster,
a Bank Clerk.
He died on the 28th April 1917 in the Battle of Arras
Enlisted 21 Jan 1916 age 20 years 10 months;
Draft for BEF (Lewis Gunner) 25 Sept 1916,
joined 1st RM Bn. 16 Nov 1916 - 3 Dec 1916 to hospital sick,
rejoined 1st RM Bn 29 Jan 1917-4 Feb 1917
ICT left heel, rejoined 1st RM Bn 16Feb 1917
28 Apr 1917 Declared Dead
John was reported to be missing before being declared dead

Victory Medal & British War Medal
