Notes

John  joined the Royal Navy on the 24 August 1915. 
The Son of James & Elizabeth Myerscough nee Hudson born 16 Apr 1885 he married
 Sarah Elizabeth Grimshaw on 20 July 1909 at St Pauls Bradford and they had 9 children
In 1915 he was 5ft 4 1/2 inches tall, his chest was 37 1/2 inches, his hair brown, his eyes hazel and complexion fresh. 
He served on HMS Vivid from 24 August 1915 to 22 January 1916, 
a shore base at Davenport, on HMS Talbot from 23 January 1916 to 21 July 1918 
and then on HMS Vivid from 22 July 1918 until his demob.
