Joseph was discharged from the Western Command Labour Corps on the 10th October 1917 
at Nottingham. 
He was 41 years 5 months. His height was 5ft 81/2 inches. His complexion was given as fresh, his eyes grey, his hair light brown. His trade was a cotton weaver. His religion was Roman Catholic. 
He was discharged with Myalgia (chronic rheumatism) as being no longer fit for 
war service after serving 1 year and 306 days.
