The Red Pump Inn is one of the oldest in the Ribble Valley (rumoured to have been built before 1756)
An area of outstanding natural beauty.
The Inn nestles happily in an Historic Hamlet with spectacular views of the Ribble valley in every direction
Bashall Eaves was the home of John Myerscough 1675 - 1754 and is close to Mitton the final resting place of several Myerscough
During 2006 the Red Pump Inn enjoyed a rebirth, new owners John & Martina Myerscough restored the Old Inn into a traditional country establishment Jon is a direct descendant of
John Myerscough 1675 -1754 and had no knowledge of his close ties to Bashall Eaves
until Agnes Myerscough presented him with his Family Tree.( a returning home if ever there was!! )
A small Myerscough reunion was held at the Red Pump on the 20 August 2008. Pictures on Re union page
