Robert was born 6 July 1864 son of Edward & Elizabeth Myerscough nee Fairclough
He joined the Cheshire Regiment on the 21 Sept 1883 - 1896?
He served in Egypt 1886 -1887(1 yr 280 days) the East Indies (3 yrs 192 day) 1887 - 1891
 total service 12 years
(Robert is a bit of a mystery  I found him signing on with the North Lancs Regiment 17 Oct 1893 
date of birth was given wrong,  can you clear this up for me are they both the same man )
