Chorley Guardian and Leyland Hundred Advertiser
August 31st 1918

Mr Robert Myerscough, 4 Cambridge Street Chorley has been officially informed of the death, in Turkey, from dysentery, last September, of his son Private Robert Myerscough (38) Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Private Myerscough, formerly a postman at Chorley was serving in Mesopotamia when he was captured in March, last year.

Two obituries for obviously the same person!  It seems probable that the first was a bit premature as Robert was captured and not killed.!
