Notes
Thomas was the son of James E. D. and Alice Myerscough nee Jolly, of Chorley, Lancashire; 
Thomas married  Dorothy Platt of Chorley on the 19 Jun 1943 
at St James Church Chorley Lancashire,
He died on the 23rd November 1943 aged 22.

Took off at 1709 hours Dunholme Lodge 
Crashed at Rasdorf from where burials were reported on 4th December 1943. 
 Those who died are now buried in the Reichswald Forest War Cemetery.
SGT P.B. Kirwan  survived the crash and became Prisoner of War.  
Thomas Myerscough was awarded the 1939-45 Star for operational Service in the Second World War
 between 3rd September 1939, and 2nd September 1945. 
Thomas was entitled to the War Medal 1939-1945. 
The Air Crew Europe Star Campaign medal of the British Commonwealth
 was awarded to 
T.Myerscough for service in World War Two. 
This medal was awarded to Commonwealth aircrew who participated in operational flights over Europe

 from  UK bases or for operational flying from the UK over Europe, between the period
 3rd September 1939 to 5th June 1944.
